New Road Primary School held a competition for its pupils to design a road safety poster.
New Road Primary and Nursery School are looking for ways to improve the road safety outside the school, especially at the beginning and end of the school day.
We believe that promoting responsible road behaviour starts at an early age, and we invited our pupils at New Road Primary and Nursery School to enter a competition where they could use their artistic flair to design road safety posters.
There were 17 wonderful and colourful designs from pupils across the years and Rachel Mason, Chief Operating Officer of Aspire Learning Trust had the job of selecting the winner from each year. All entrants received a packet of sweets for their designs and the 5 winners were presented with an Amazon voucher.
The winning designs will be placed on the railings outside the school where we hope it will lead to more awareness and improvement to both driving and parking outside the school.
Well done to everyone who entered.
